Colorado
With the Air Force Academy, a whole host of military bases, national and state cemeteries, VA hospitals and outpatient clinics, VA Vet Centers and local veteran organizations’ posts, the blood, sweat, and tears of Colorado’s service members and veterans are evident throughout the Centennial State. Coloradans have made an enormous impact in the national security of the United States, and there is no better time than now to commit to honoring a service member or veteran by participating in Colorado’s Vote In Honor Of A Veteran program.
Every citizen has a powerful tool in the form of their right to vote. Dedicating your vote to a person who fought for that right enriches it with even more meaning.
From the Colorado Secretary of State:
“The Vote in Honor of a Veteran program provides Colorado citizens with a visible tribute to those who so proudly serve and who have served this country in United States Military Service. This program recognizes their efforts to keep our democracy strong and to ensure that we may continue to cast a ballot each election day. This election, Vote in Honor of a Veteran by wearing a personalized button declaring your appreciation for the specific contributions of a particular U.S. Service Member or Veteran.”
