New Jersey

There’s no question New Jersey has a rich military history and an equally-deep commitment to fellow citizens who serve or have served our country. As one of the original 13 colonies who have provided volunteer military personnel since America’s founding, New Jersey proudly offers its Vote for Valor program to all New Jerseyan voters.

Garden State voters are encouraged to pay their tribute to the patriots they know - veterans or current active duty service members - on the Vote for Valor site. And to post a photo or story on social media with the #VoteforValorNJ hashtag.

Not all states offer an opportunity to highlight a veteran or someone currently serving on Active Duty when casting a ballot, so this is an opportunity not to be missed. We encourage New Jersey voters to not only participate in the Vote for Valor program, but to also spread the word and urge more NJ voters to also highlight their veteran!

“Our service members know all too well that the freedom we enjoy is secured on the backs of generations willing to fight for it.  One of the most critical ways of safeguarding our values and most sacred freedoms is through the ballot box.”
