North Carolina voters may be surprised to know that their state offers the chance to make a real difference with its Voting In Honor Of A Veteran program.
The North Carolina State Board of Elections offers a bold way for its residents to vote in honor of a veteran with a bright and colorful, customized, wearable pin. The pin commemorates the veteran who served. U.S. Vote Foundation strongly encourages voters to wear them to the polls on Election Day.
Jazz musician John Coltrane, Enola Gay bombardier Thomas Ferebee, President Andrew Johnson – some of the biggest names in American history are of military veterans from this incredible state which somehow manages to churn out heroes with every generation.
